Artist statement: Being a foodie at heart with a sweet tooth, I get drawn to desserts like a moth to a flame so it’s natural I get inspired to paint them. I use my art to go vocal about social issues, capture emotions in portraits , share the temptations of food, and meditate with stippling. I paint in both acrylics, and watercolors, and sometimes use ink while doing stippling. My art can be viewed on www.instagram.com/artaesthetics_by_anju_pillai

Sarah Powers-Radford

Artist statement: This image was captured in a small series of burst shots at a home on Cape Cod. The children's energy and excitement while running down the board walk towards the ocean is a scenic remainder that summers and childhood never seem to last long enough.

Artist statement: In a world lost in never-ending meetings and a long list of other situations that we may face in our day-to-day, it can become easy to lose sight of the natural beauty that surrounds us constantly. Through my work, I aim to show people ready for a change that if you stop for a second, take a deep breath, and look around you, you will see an environment more engaging than you once thought.

The Young Farmer
The Young Farmer
Colleen B. Reilly
$375.00

Artist statement: Along roads in Lancaster, PA today, farmers work the land in a similar manner as in the 1700s when the Amish first settled here. From the passenger side of my car, I captured this image while slowly passing a large farm. In the field was a young farmer. However, it was surprising not to see a modern tractor, but instead, to view his guiding a team of draft horses pulling equipment that was used almost two centuries ago. It shows how a farmer's life is a daily struggle no matter the time period.

A Dream of Heaven
A Dream of Heaven
Colleen B. Reilly
$350.00

Artist statement: The beauty of nature reveals the perfect harmony in God’s earthly creations. Everything we see is intricately and wonderfully connected. I was inspired by the fanciful forest in the movie, Avatar. I also enjoyed creating my own island in the virtual reality game, Second Life. Here, I re-imagined a forest landscape in New Hampshire where the scenery comes to life with vibrant colors, pulsating movements of trees, flowers and grasses, discovered by an innocent young girl. This could be heaven.

Sanctuary
Sanctuary
Colleen B. Reilly
$375.00

Artist statement: A bench always beckons me to stop. To do what? Well, to sit and gaze at nature. To take a moment’s refuge from a fast-paced world. Or to just rest and think. I love benches for all these many reasons. This one, under a protective pergola of intertwined vines, creates an aura of serenity. This little sanctuary is seductive. It’s calling me to stay for a while…and wonder.

Still More Time
Still More Time
Colleen B. Reilly
$350.00

Artist statement: A colorful flower, which gives us so much joy, blooms for too short a time. Like all living things, its natural cycle of life never seems long enough. However, its beauty is still alive, even as it inevitably must fade with time. Let this flower be a lesson for us. Time is never an ally, as it moves along sweeping away all in its corrosive path. Always treasure the moment to realize the fleeting, but beautiful, essence that defines all that you see in the present.
Specific medium: fine art photography

$200.00

Artist statement: This work began with a photo of our model during a painting session. I wanted to capture the myriad of images / reflections through the artist's eyes, as well as sense of timelessness. I applied a variety of techniques and a combination of images to obtain this photographic painting.

"In Nomini"
Colleen Reilly-Rees
$425.00

Artist statement: For awhile now, I have explored combining my existing works into new unified pieces. I have never settled upon one medium, so I enjoy collecting past images to tell a personal story. The sculpted figures appear frequently. They were once women dancing freely, but in this work, they are oppressed.
