Artist statement: Dusk is approaching, the light is fading. My kayak is floating one way, and the leaf is floating another. I thought the image with the light playing on the water, and leaf seeming to fly across the lake was interesting.

Artist statement: I was always the kid stomping around in the brook behind my home, the teacher who finger-painted with my students. This is reflected in my work: textured, playful, messy and vibrant. Present here and now. I’m inspired by the natural world, especially flowers. I like the constraint of rules; I also enjoy tossing them out the window when it feels right. Rarely is the finished piece what I had thought going in… Which I appreciate because I get to experience it as someone does for the first time.

Artist statement: I am a self-taught, abstract intuitive artist, single mother and Peer Support Specialist. My art evolved through struggling to make meaning and find purpose in my life, beginning at a time I consider to be my “dark night of the soul”. Painting for me serves as a form of meditation, and engaging in my artistic endeavors creates space for emotional catharsis and spiritual healing. The intuitive process is always more important than the product and allows for the natural flow of consciousness.

Artist statement: This image reminded me of my childhood and every time I saw a Dandelion, I would pick it and make a wish. So, in this image, I see wishes and choose to hold on to my innocent belief that they are not weeds but wishes delivered to the Universe via a simple breeze. So next time you see a Dandelion, stop, pick the weed, and make your wish! Only true believers will see their wishes materialize! today I wish for peace and equality for all.

$1,299.00

Artist statement: Campering life is to be out in nature recharging your soul and appreciating the simple pleasures that life gives you. Make sure the paths you take in life have dirt, grass, rocks, and mud. The quote below speaks to me. Now I see the secret of making the best person, it is to grow in the open air and to eat and sleep with the earth, by Walt Whitman.
