Lindsey Van Gieson
$65.00

Artist statement: As a photographer, I am always looking to capture the beauty in the everyday. What first drew me to photography was the excitement of finding the perfect moment; catching the late afternoon light reflecting off a leaf or rays of the morning sun tracing a path of new growth through the woods. The way light and color can transform objects continues to fascinate me each time I look through the lens. The inspiration for my photographs comes from practicing mindfulness in everyday life.

After the Wolf
After the Wolf
Martha Wakefield
$425.00

Artist statement: Pandemic. Life will never be the same. We are all still isolated. Numb. This body of work seeks to capture that sense of isolation. The vibrancy of the red slip speaks of a former world. Its scantiness reveals the current fragility of our existence. Our homes had walled us off from community. The tools of our working life have been stilled or forever changed. Nature offers respite but when venturing out we are guarded expecting the wolf to emerge from the darken forest.
Specific medium: archival pigment print
