Artist statement: This macro photo was taken while spending time with a dear friend in Otis, MA. I love the patterns in nature and the way the petals spread out in all directions. She's a gardener and I feel it's a beautiful way to remember this time spent with her.

Artist statement: This was taken in early spring at Enders Falls in Granby Connecticut. The ice wasn't completely melted and the spring run off was creating thundering energy as it sent water exploding over the falls.

Artist statement: This shot was taken at a plant sale in early spring in Otis, Massachusetts. The close up shows the variation of the colours and the curl of the petals. The plant was for sale but the beauty was free to whomever noticed.

Artist statement: This shot was taken during the late winter when there had been a recent warmer pattern. The cold water was skimming by in the background as the "bubbles" of ice sat clustered together on the edge. The color of the rocks show through the water.

Artist statement: This image was captured from my backyard in Grafton using a Celestron 6SE telescope and a Canon digital camera. It was created with 130 stacked images of the Orion Nebula (Messier Object 42) located in the sword of the Orion constellation. The Orion Nebula is ~1,344 light years away from Earth which means that this image doesn't show the nebula as it looks today, but as it looked in the year ~678 AD!

Artist statement: This is an abandoned Farm in Sutton. We have used the area frequently for Plein-air painting. The town now owns it and have torn down some of the buildings so we try to memorialize as many as we can.
